Beaujolais Nouveau Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of November to mark the release of Beaujolais Nouveau, a young red wine made from Gamay grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. Traditionally, this wine is fermented for just a few weeks before its release, making it a fresh and fruity wine that is best enjoyed soon after bottling. The day is marked by festivities, wine tastings, and celebrations in France and around the world, as wine enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the arrival of this year's vintage. The slogan "Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!" ("The new Beaujolais has arrived!") captures the excitement surrounding the event.
